Kris Cahill is an artist, blogger, and clairvoyant living in Los Angeles. Originally from Chicago, Kris moved to LA on October 3, 2006, and lives in a loft downtown with her husband, actor and filmmaker Noel Olken.
An artist all her life, Kris graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA in 1982. While a student, she discovered and began to develop the unique painting technique she continues to use today: Reverse Painting on Clear Vinyl. All of the art you see on this blog is Kris’s original work, and each piece is made using this technique. To date she has painted over 900 paintings using this technique. Kris has been a self representing artist for many years now, and is currently entering art shows and hanging her art wherever and whenever she can. In October and November of 2008, Kris was juried into two large group art shows, and won an award in each. Kris is also currently looking for gallery representation.
Early in 2008, Kris became more interested in painting spirit and energy, and committed to abstract imagery in her work. Since that decision was made, her work has continued to grow and expand in its richness, depth, and color. With “The Agents Of Change”, “Energy”, and “Storms”, among other series, Kris’s themes of spiritual growth, change, freedom, and love flow through each sparkling piece she presents to the viewer, like jewels of truth.
As a professional psychic, Kris gives clairvoyant readings to clients in Southern California and across the United States. She brings the same energy to her clairvoyant reading practice, preferring to read the true spirit in each person. Uninterested in predicting any outcomes, Kris would rather speak to the free will and power of each client, and each one’s ability to heal. Kris taught meditation, healing, and clairvoyance for 6 years at InVision, a psychic school in Chicago.
As a blogger, Kris writes in an easy humorous style about topics ranging from art making to spiritual healing, choice, and transformation.

Hi Kris, Gosh I am so new to blogging that I’m not sure how I got here with my name typed in. I am having a brochure done for me by a graphic artist in New York and she wanted to know if the quote by WH Murray that I want to be included, should mention something about him. That led me to find out more about him which led me to a website that had something about him on a blog which led me to a blog about writing, which led me to your name and someone saying that the reason they included you and your comment was because people should go take a look at your fantastic blog site, which let me to click on your name and WOW…THE COLOR IS FANTASTIC.
I was so taken by the photos of your paintings that I just wanted to let you know that someone up in the SF Bay area really appreciated your talent. I looked for a way to send you an email and found my name above a white square that looked like I could write you an email and here I am.
Thank you for your participation and the inspiration I have gained from visiting your site.
